Hanover House provides an excellent focus for visiting the Cotswolds, Malverns or Forest of Dean. It is located in the heart of Regency Cheltenham, within 2 minutes walk of the renowned Cheltenham Ladies' College and a large number of excellent restaurants suiting all culinary tastes.

The superb, fashionable shopping and dining emporia located within historic Montpellier and along the tree-lined Promenade, hosting regular farmer and continental markets, are within a very short walk, together with the multiplex cinema, the Everyman Theatre and the Town Hall.

The town is renowned for, apart from its parks and shops, its festivals, including the Gold Cup at the racecourse a mile and a half away and the string of world famous Literary, Music, Science, Jazz, Folk and Cricket festivals, with venues at the Pitville Pump Room, Centaur arena and other theatres around the town.

"Hanover House is a family home where the owners, James and Veronica, provide an extremely informal atmosphere which I just love and for me it was home from home. Everything about this place is informal, warm, and welcoming from the way I booked through to my arrival, stay and departure. The bedroom and bathroom where spotless, large and airy and above all comfortable.

I think for me it was a feeling of being part of her extended family.The house is just off the town centre and so easy for walking to shops and restaurants, and with Cheltenham being a such a beautiful town I feel Hanover House just compliments it so well. I am now thinking of an excuse to go back as quickly as possible."

"When I arrived at Hanover House - in a very central Cheltenham location - I was exhausted after a busy conference. Being so warmly welcomed by Veronica was a tonic.My room was beautifully decorated and arranged, cosy, warm (even an electric blanket!) and absolutely spotless. The shower was hot; the towels were soft and the attention to was both personal and thoughtful.

I unwound perfectly and enjoyed a cosy night's sleep to wake up to probably the best breakfast I have ever had in a B&B: an array of fresh fruits, yoghurt and muesli, followed by a perfect cooked breakfast, toast and home-made marmalade (the breakfast table-Spode China and antique white linen-was a work of art in itself). But best of all is the warmth and friendliness of Veronica and James and the fact that this is very much a family home. Now I've just got to find reasons to go back."
